French coach Hervé Renard of the Saudi national team appeared to talk about the strength of the upcoming friendly match against the Czech Republic, scheduled for Monday, as part of the current camp of the Green in the Czech capital.

Renard said in his remarks at the pre-match press conference: "We played a good match against North Macedonia, and we are expecting a stronger match against the Czech Republic, so we must be ready for it."

The Saudi national team coach continued: "This current camp is very important for us for the upcoming October, where we have two decisive matches in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers."

Renard added: "The Czech team will be different as they have different teams, and we know that it will not be easy for us, but as we said, it is a good match for us to be well prepared for the upcoming matches."

He concluded by saying: "We lost four players in the first match, and now we are losing players who will be out of the lineup, Nawaf Al-Aqidi and Nasser Al-Dosari, but we are regaining Salem Al-Dosari and Ziyad Al-Jahani."
