Liverpool FC has announced the list of goals nominated for the Goal of the Month award for August, which features Egyptian star Mohamed Salah among the contenders.

Salah's goal against Bournemouth during the opening round of the Premier League is among the nominated goals, as he scored from following up on a shot saved by the goalkeeper, giving Liverpool the advantage in the match.

Salah is competing for the award against several team stars, including Cody Gakpo, Federico Chiesa, Hugo Ekitike, Ryan Gravenberch, Dominik Szoboszlai, and young team star Ngumohah, while Ekitike leads with two goals scored during the same month against Bournemouth and Newcastle.

During August, Mohamed Salah participated in four matches with Liverpool, including three in the Premier League and one in the Community Shield final, successfully scoring one goal and assisting another, contributing to the Reds' top position in the league table with a perfect score after the first three rounds.

Liverpool is preparing to face Burnley on September 14, as part of the fourth round of the Premier League.
