Officially.. Al Hilal announces Mitrovic's departure to Al Rayyan
Al Hilal Saudi Club announced in an official statement on its website the departure of Alexander Mitrovic to Al Rayyan in Qatar.
The club stated: "Al Hilal Club Company has agreed to the transfer of the Serbian first-team football player Alexander Mitrovic to Al Rayyan Club in Qatar."
It added: "The club management expressed its gratitude and appreciation to player Mitrovic for all his efforts, which contributed to winning the Roshn Saudi League, the King’s Cup, and two Saudi Super Cups, wishing him success in his upcoming journey."
According to the reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano, Al Hilal agreed to terminate the player's contract, which was set to expire in the summer of 2026, thus joining Al Rayyan on a free transfer.
Mitrovic had joined Al Hilal in 2023 from Fulham, playing 79 matches in all competitions, scoring 68 goals and providing 15 assists.
