Italian media reports that Juventus does not rule out the option of renewing the contract of their Serbian striker Dusan Vlahovic, after failing to sell him during the last summer transfer window.

According to "La Gazzetta dello Sport", Vlahovic was expected to leave this summer, especially as he enters the final year of his contract, which gives him the right to negotiate and sign a preliminary agreement with another club starting from January, without the approval of the Old Lady.

Juventus is aware of the risks of losing the player for free, especially after paying 70 million euros to acquire him in 2022, in addition to 10 million euros in bonuses, which increases the importance of moving to extend his contract or finding a suitable financial solution.

Although the club has not made a final decision regarding the contract renewal, the scenario is still strongly on the table, especially to spread the cost of the player's high salary over a longer number of seasons.

Vlahovic, who scored two goals in the first two rounds of Serie A this season after coming on as a substitute, will remain with Juventus at least until next January, continuing to fight for a starting position in coach Igor Tudor's lineup.
