Moroccan star Hakim Ziyech is looking forward to starting a new experience in the upcoming period, with one of his goals being to be with his national team in the Africa Cup of Nations and the World Cup.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Elche is still seeking to sign Ziyech despite the end of the summer transfer window, taking advantage of his status as a free agent after his contract with Qatari club Al-Duhail ended in July.

Elche has not sufficiently reinforced the playmaker position during the transfers, so they see Ziyech as an opportunity to fill this gap.

The biggest challenge is Ziyech's high salary, but being a free agent may ease the process compared to a complicated contract with another club.

Ziyech (32 years old) has previously played for Ajax and Chelsea, achieving notable success with the Moroccan national team in the 2022 World Cup, making him an important addition to Elche in terms of technical skills and experience.
