The summer transfer market of 2025 in the Italian league has come to a close, with clubs being active to varying degrees. AC Milan topped the list of the highest spenders, while Genoa limited itself to free transfers and loans.

According to the specialized transfer market website "Transfermarkt", AC Milan led the way after spending €164 million on summer deals, surpassing Juventus, which spent around €137.3 million, and Atalanta with €125.8 million.

The club Como surprised observers by ranking fifth in terms of spending, after being the highest spender in the January transfer window, indicating an ambitious sports project led by coach Cesc Fabregas.

Lazio, on the other hand, spent nearly €30 million, allocated to convert loans into permanent contracts such as Nicolo Rovella from Juventus and Nuno Tavares from Arsenal, due to a transfer ban imposed on them this summer.
