Reports have confirmed the exclusion of Mohamed Shuhata, midfielder of Zamalek Club, from the plans of Hossam Hassan, the coach of the Egypt national team, in order to utilize his services in the matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso next month.

According to the reports, Mohamed Shuhata will not be part of the Egypt national team for the matches against Ethiopia and Burkina Faso in September as part of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup due to injury.

Shuhata has been suffering from a severe injury in the hamstring over the past few days.

He was also absent from Zamalek's squad for the match against Wadi Degla this evening in the fifth round of the Egyptian Premier League due to injury.

Sources revealed that the player will undergo new scans in the coming hours to accurately determine the extent of the injury and the duration of his absence.
