Blanc: We are still analyzing the needs of the Union
The French coach Laurent Blanc of Ittihad Jeddah responded regarding the team's reinforcement before the end of the ongoing summer transfer period, following an early exit from the Saudi Super Cup.
Blanc said during the press conference: "We are still analyzing the team's needs and are in the discussion phase of whether we will develop our team. I believe this answer is one any coach would give if asked this question in my position."
When asked about his opinion on the team's training camp, he said: "It was at the highest level, both the camp and the Super Cup, as well as the preparation phase that took place in Jeddah."
Regarding the match against Al-Akhudood, he said: "We succeeded in imposing our style of play during many periods of the match; we had a lot of possession, and the proof is that we scored 5 goals and had many opportunities."
He concluded: "The positive aspect of the Al-Akhudood match is that we scored 5 goals, but on the other hand, we conceded two goals. We should have been stronger defensively and not conceded the two goals that were scored against us."
