We were good in possession and did not give the opponent many chances, but we need to remain calm in some situations and know how to stop the opponent's momentum. Today we created 9 clear chances, and we understand what needs to be improved."

He added: "If we had scored 5 goals from the chances we had, we would have decided the match early. The important thing is that we create a lot of chances. There are things we need to improve, but not everything is negative."

Regarding the injury of Stuttgart player Vlahovic, Kompany said: "We want the safety of every player; at the moment of contact, you don’t always see the full picture. Sandro's words were correct, but Sasha apologized afterward. I think he didn’t realize the seriousness of the situation at first, but he apologized as soon as he understood. We wish all the best for Vlahovic and his family."
