Belouizdad Youth Club announced today, Saturday, the official termination of the contract with their Cameroonian player Jack Mbi, just one season after joining the team.

Mbi, who is 26 years old, joined the "Syarab" squad in the summer of 2024 from the Tunisian club Sfaxien, under a contract that extended for three years until the summer of 2027. However, the player failed to establish himself within the group, despite participating in 20 matches last season across various competitions.

The club's management clarified in an official statement that they reached a mutual agreement with the Cameroonian player to terminate the contract amicably, expressing gratitude for the efforts he made during his time representing the team.

The decision to terminate the contract came on the recommendation of coach Sid Ramovic, who included the player in the list of departures as part of a restructuring plan for the squad in preparation for upcoming local and continental competitions.
