
Tunisia National Team List for Matches Against Liberia and Equatorial Guinea
Tunisian national team coach Sami Trabelsi announced today the list of players called up for the matches against Liberia and Equatorial Guinea, as part of the seventh and eighth rounds of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.
The "Eagles of Carthage" will host the Liberian team on September 4 at Rades Stadium, before traveling to Malabo to face Equatorial Guinea on the 8th of the same month.
Trabelsi's list included some surprises, notably the first-time call-up of midfielder Ismail Gharbi, who plays for Sporting Braga in Portugal, and right-back Moataz Nefati, a player for Norrköping in Sweden.
