Al-Hazm Saudi Club, recently promoted to the Roshan Professional League, has officially announced its contract with Syrian star Omar Al-Soma in a free transfer deal.

The club shared a video on its official account on the 'X' platform, accompanied by the caption: "The historic Omar Al-Soma... Hazmawi, 154 goals written by history and there is still more glory to come."

Al-Soma, who is 36 years old, is the all-time top scorer in the Saudi league with 154 goals, scored with Al-Ahli and Al-Urooba. His joining Al-Hazm comes after a short stint with Wydad Casablanca in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, where he aims to continue his brilliance and enhance his scoring record.

Al-Soma had received offers from Iraqi clubs, but he chose to stay in the Roshan League to continue competing. The player arrived in Al-Rass city and immediately participated in Al-Hazm's training, receiving a warm welcome from his teammates and the coaching staff, in a step that strengthens the team's attacking line.
