Mokwana Joins Al-Hazm on Loan from Tunisian Esperance
South African winger Elias Mokwana participated in the training of Al-Hazm's first football team, while the club completes the administrative procedures to finalize his loan transfer for one season from Tunisian Esperance.
Mokwana arrived in the city of Al-Rass on Saturday, underwent a medical examination, and signed his contract with the team, awaiting the completion of regulatory approvals before the official announcement of his joining the Saudi team.
The 25-year-old player moved to Al-Hazm after a full season with Esperance, during which he participated in 37 matches, scoring 6 goals and providing 4 assists, confirming his worthiness to participate in the Saudi 'Roshen' League.
Mokwana has international experience after playing four matches with the South African national team, and he was under a contract that extends for three seasons with Esperance, which started last summer, before moving to Al-Hazm on loan.
Al-Hazm received the financial competency certificate from the league association on Saturday, allowing it to finalize local and foreign deals during the summer transfer period, under the supervision of Tunisian coach Jalal Qadri, who brought the team back to the 'Roshen' League.
