Kante's Potential Return to French League
Monday 25-08-2025
Al-Ittihad Club of Saudi Arabia has opened the door for the transfer of its French star N'Golo Kante, placing his name on the table of several European clubs, primarily Paris FC and Monaco, in addition to Al-Qadisiyah, according to the French website 'Foot Mercato'.

Kante, the 2018 World Cup champion, has had two successful seasons with Al-Ittihad, appearing in about 80 matches, confirming his presence with his experience and leadership on the field. However, the 34-year-old player seems eager to embark on a new experience that would restore his competitive rhythm.

Despite his contract with the club extending until 2026, the French international does not hide his ambition to gain more playing time in Europe, aiming to enhance his chances of participating in the upcoming World Cup under coach Didier Deschamps.

Paris FC, which is experiencing a tough start in its first season in the French league after two losses to Angers and Marseille, is looking for a major signing to change the shape of its project. After failing to sign Benjamin André, Kante has become the most prominent option for the club's management, supported by 'Red Bull' and the Arnault family.

Monaco remains a strong competitor, thanks to its stable position and European participations, which gives the player the opportunity to play in the Champions League, although the deal is not among the club's top priorities in this market.

With the 2026 World Cup approaching, all eyes are on Kante's decision: will he return to France through an ambitious project with Paris FC, or will he prefer a more stable experience with Monaco at the European summit?
