Sunday 24-08-2025
Riyadh Club finalized its contract with midfielder Mohammed Al-Saeed on Sunday, in a step aimed at strengthening the first football team before the start of the Roshan Saudi League competitions for the new sports season 2025-2026.

Special sources revealed to "Al-Riyadiyah" that Al-Saeed, who is 28 years old, officially signed for the red and black club after a successful stint with Al-Akhidood, where he spent the last three seasons following five seasons with Al-Fateh.

Al-Saeed has extensive experience in the league after playing 88 matches, and he is known for his ability to occupy multiple positions in midfield, while Al-Akhidood utilized him last season as a left-back when needed.

The Riyadh team, under the leadership of its Spanish coach Javier Calleja, is preparing for the season's start with a tough match against Al-Hilal next Friday at the Kingdom Arena, after completing its external camp in Spain and returning to continue its preparations in the capital.

The club had completed four foreign signings during the summer, along with several local contracts, most notably Khalil Al-Absi and Osama Al-Bawardi, in an effort to present a better image than last season, which it ended in the eleventh position with 38 points.
