The Belgian Yannick Ferreira, coach of Zamalek, spoke about his team's victory over Modern Sport in the league.

Zamalek achieved a 2-1 victory over Modern Sport in a match held on Thursday evening as part of the third round of the Egyptian Premier League.

Ferreira said in the press conference after the match: "The White Knight deserved the victory in today's match against Modern Sport in the Premier League. We started the match well and scored an early goal, and we had other chances, but after 20 minutes the team calmed down somewhat."

He continued: "We started the second half well and scored the second goal, and we had a chance to kill the match, but the opponent scored a surprising goal. Zamalek had a chance to score a third goal but we did not capitalize on it, and the opponent did not have any clear chances."

Ferreira confirmed that his team's performance in the match against Modern Sport was the best in the three matches the team has played in the league.

He pointed out that the coaching staff was considering substituting Ahmed Fattouh for Nasser Maher and there was a choice between him and Salah Musadak, and Musadak was chosen because Modern Sport relies on set pieces and crosses.

He concluded his statements: "Adam Kaid is proficient in playing both wing and number 10 positions, and the coaching staff needed the player's services in the wing position in light of Nasser Maher's presence."
