A British media report revealed the stance of Real Madrid's Argentine international striker Franco Mastantuno regarding his participation in the UEFA Champions League wearing the royal club's jersey.

According to what was reported by the British network "The Athletic", the Argentine star can play normally with Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League.

This confirmation comes after the royal club decided to register the player in the Castilla team list and granted him the number 30 jersey, in a move aimed at keeping an open spot in the first team roster in anticipation of making a new signing before the transfer window closes.

Media reports had indicated that registering Mastantuno in the Castilla list while he will participate with the first team is considered an illegal procedure, however, most reliable sources confirmed that the step taken by the royal club does not conflict with the regulations.
