Bayern Munich's Plan to Compensate for Team Absences
Thursday 21-08-2025
Max Eberl, a member of Bayern Munich's board, revealed that the club is considering the option of loaning a new striker during the current summer transfer window as an innovative solution in light of the club's desire to save money and avoid excessive spending.

This approach comes after the departure of several prominent names from the Bavarian squad, such as Thomas Müller, Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman, and Mathys Tel, in addition to the long-term injury sustained by star Jamal Musiala, and the young Paul Vanner's readiness to move to Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

Max Eberl stated in his remarks: "We have a relative shortage in the attack line, and we are looking for solutions, but the task is not easy."

He added: "The club has decided to reduce spending, so we need to be creative; we are currently seeking to sign a forward on loan."

Bayern Munich recently signed Colombian winger Luis Díaz from Liverpool, while both Florian Wirtz and Nick Völkermayr declined to join the team, preferring other destinations.

Eberl concluded his remarks by emphasizing that Bayern Munich aims to build a competitive team, focusing on developing young players in a suitable environment, away from media pressures.
