Officially .. Dortmund announces Haller's permanent departure
The departure of the famous Ivorian striker Sébastien Haller from Borussia Dortmund has been confirmed permanently, as officially announced today, Monday.
The player, who led his national team to win the Africa Cup of Nations, has joined Dutch club Utrecht on a permanent basis, after having played with them in the second half of last season on loan.
Thus, Haller will play again with the club where he previously excelled before moving between Eintracht Frankfurt, West Ham United, Ajax Amsterdam, Dortmund, and Leganés.
The 31-year-old player had joined Dortmund in a deal that had high expectations in the summer of 2022, but the discovery of his cancer diagnosis upon arrival significantly affected his experience.
