Marotta Resolves the Controversy Over Al-Hilal or Al-Nassr's Negotiations with Hakan
Sunday 17-08-2025
Giuseppe Marotta, the president of the Italian club Inter Milan, confirmed that all rumors regarding the transfer of sporting director Piero Ausilio or Turkish star Hakan Çalhanoğlu to Saudi clubs are untrue, emphasizing that both will continue with the team.

Marotta explained in his statements that there are no official negotiations from Al-Hilal or Al-Nassr to contract with Ausilio or Hakan, affirming that both will continue their journey with Inter normally in the upcoming period without any changes.

Media reports in Italy had linked the names of the sporting director and the Turkish striker to the two clubs in the Saudi capital, as Al-Hilal is looking for a new sporting director, while it was mentioned that Al-Nassr entered negotiations with Hakan after Colombian player Juan Duran's departure.

Ausilio has held the position of sporting director at Inter since 2014 and played a role in bringing coach Simone Inzaghi, the current coach of Al-Hilal, when he was leading the Italian team, which increased speculation about his departure to the Saudi league.

As for Hakan, who is 31 years old, he has worn the Inter jersey since 2021 and has participated with the team in 182 matches across all competitions, scoring 38 goals and providing 32 assists, making him one of the key pillars of the club's midfield.
