Milan Approaches Signing Leicester City Defender
After announcing the signing of defender Koni De Winter coming from Genoa, AC Milan has turned its attention to Leicester City defender Kalb Okoli, to strengthen its defense before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to what was reported by "Football Italia", a preliminary agreement has been reached between Milan and Okoli for a contract extending until the summer of 2030, with a value ranging from 1.8 to 2 million euros annually.
In return, Leicester City has set the asking price for the player at 20 to 25 million euros, as the Rossoneri aim to finalize the deal in the coming days.
This move comes after the sale of German defender Malick Thiaw to Newcastle United for 40 million euros, with part of the proceeds already invested in the De Winter deal, while the rest of the amount is expected to be allocated for acquiring Okoli, as part of the management's plan to bolster the defense with two promising signings for the price of one player.
