Strong Competition Among Saudi League Clubs for Al-Qadisiyah Talent
The Saudi Al-Ittihad Club has moved to negotiate with Al-Qadisiyah's management regarding the contract of young midfielder Saif Rajab during the current summer transfer period, to strengthen its squad in preparation for the new season.
The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Al-Ittihad inquired about the possibility of signing Rajab, who is 21 years old and also represents the Saudi Olympic team, after his impressive performances with Al-Qadisiyah.
Al-Qadisiyah's management rejected the offer to loan the player to corporate clubs, despite interest from Al-Fateh, Al-Riyadh, and Al-Najma in his services during the summer transfer window.
The newspaper confirmed that Rajab plans to leave Al-Qadisiyah this summer in search of an opportunity to play as a starter, with his future expected to be decided in the coming days.
According to the regulations of the Professional Committee and Player Status, Saif Rajab can play in the Roshan League under 21 years old, in addition to representing the first team without counting him among the 15 local players allowed.
