Leeds United Targets Signing of Okafor
According to 'Football Italia', Leeds United, newly promoted to the Premier League, has expressed interest in signing Swiss international Noah Okafor from AC Milan.
Reports indicate that Leeds, which faced Milan in a friendly match during the pre-season for the new season, is looking to strengthen its squad by acquiring Okafor for the 2025/2026 season.
Okafor, who is 25 years old, was loaned to Napoli in the middle of the 2024/2025 season after being deemed surplus to requirements by Milan, as he struggled to establish himself in the coach's lineup.
Okafor returned to Milan this summer under the management of Massimiliano Allegri and delivered an impressive performance during the summer pre-season tour in Asia and Australia, scoring two goals in matches against Liverpool and Perth Glory.
According to sources, Milan rejected an offer from Bologna last summer, which was a loan with an option to buy for 15 to 16 million euros, reflecting Okafor's approximate potential value, as he joined Milan for 13 to 15 million euros in the summer of 2023.
