Sparta Rotterdam Signs Saif Allah Latif on Loan
The Dutch club Sparta Rotterdam announced on its official website the signing of Tunisian international player Saif Allah Latif, coming from Twente, on loan for one season.
The 25-year-old player was born in Zurich, Switzerland, and began his career in the academies of Zurich and Kosov, before embarking on his first professional experience with Winterthur, where he played for three seasons in the Swiss second division. He then moved to Basel, and after playing ten matches with Basel, he returned to Winterthur on loan, increasing his appearances with the team to 127 matches.
In the summer of 2024, Latif joined Twente, participating in 44 matches in his first season, while continuing to represent the Tunisian national team, for which he has played 20 international matches so far.
The head coach of Sparta said: "When we learned that Saif Allah Latif would not have a great opportunity to participate with Twente this season, we moved quickly to loan him. He is a player with good experience and can play on both wings. We are happy to have him join us and wish him a successful season in the Sparta jersey."
