Al-Nasr Awaits Second Bilbao Offer to Decide Laporte's Fate
Friday 08-08-2025
The Saudi Al-Nasr club is awaiting a new move from the Spanish Athletic Bilbao regarding the signing of defender Aymeric Laporte, as there is currently no official agreement between the two parties.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano reported that the first offer made by Bilbao was not accepted by Al-Nasr's management, and no alternative offer has been presented so far, leaving the deal pending on the Spanish side's decision.

Despite the lack of a finalized agreement between the two clubs, Laporte has reached a personal agreement with Bilbao's management, as the Basque club is his first choice to return to La Liga.

Laporte joined Al-Nasr in the summer of 2023 from Manchester City, with a contract extending until 2026, and he participated in 69 matches during which he scored 9 goals and assisted 1 goal.

The player has become out of the plans of coach Jorge Jesus for the new season, opening the door for his departure if a satisfactory offer reaches Al-Nasr's management.
