Ali Maaloul, the former star of Al Ahly, expressed his happiness about returning to the ranks of Sfaxien during the summer transfer window.

Sfaxien announced the signing of Ali Maaloul in a free transfer deal after the expiration of his contract with Al Ahly.

Maaloul expressed his joy at returning to the club where he started, saying in press statements: "I am happy to return among my family. This opportunity came at an important time for me, and I hope my return will be successful for both me and the club."

He added: "The Sfaxien fans are not strangers to me, and I am not a stranger to them. What I witnessed today confirms the genuine spirit of these fans, and I hope they will continue to support us always."

Regarding his journey with Al Ahly, Maaloul said: "I spent 9 years filled with successes within the walls of Al Ahly, and it was a period characterized by mutual respect. The fans loved me especially, and I reciprocated that love. I thank them for their constant support."
