Officially.. Duhok Club signs Saad Natiq

Duhok Club officially announced its signing of the Iraqi international defender Saad Natiq, making him one of the team's most prominent signings during the summer transfer period, in a move that reflects the club's ambition to strengthen its squad with players of international experience in preparation for the new season of the Iraqi Premier League.

Saad Natiq is considered one of the top defenders in Iraqi football in recent years, boasting an impressive record in both local and international arenas, in addition to his continuous representation of the Iraqi national team in several continental and international tournaments.

The 31-year-old player began his football career with Al-Najaf Club before moving to Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya, and then Al-Shorta, where he delivered high-level performances that caught the attention of regional clubs, before embarking on a professional experience in the Saudi league with Al-Batin Club and then Abha Club, before continuing his international career in Qatar through Al-Arabi Club.

Natiq is known for his high physical strength, good game reading, and ability to lead the backline and organize the defense, qualities that prompted Duhok Club's management to act quickly and include him in the team's ranks, amid a clear effort to build a competitive lineup capable of making a strong appearance in the upcoming season.

Duhok's management expressed great happiness at completing the deal, considering that signing Natiq represents a qualitative addition to the team, especially given his experience in Arab leagues, which contributes to raising the group's level and bringing leadership spirit to the locker room.
