
Officially: West Ham Announces Departure of Michail Antonio
West Ham United announced today, Thursday, the departure of Jamaican striker Michail Antonio from the team, after agreeing not to renew his contract which expired at the end of last season.
Antonio, who is 35 years old, joined West Ham in September 2015 from Nottingham Forest, and played 323 matches with the team across various competitions over 10 years.
Antonio scored 83 goals in the Premier League, making him the club's all-time top scorer in the competition, and he played a significant role in West Ham's victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League in 2023, which was the club's first title in 43 years.
