Angus Gunn Joins Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest Football Club announced the signing of Scottish goalkeeper Angus Gunn on a free transfer, with a contract extending for one season.

The club stated in an official announcement that Gunn, who is 29 years old, is officially part of the team in preparation for the upcoming season.

Gunn began his career at the Norwich City academy before signing his first professional contract with Manchester City in 2013 when he was seventeen. He later moved to Southampton in 2018, before returning to Norwich in 2021, where he made 172 appearances for the team over two periods, including 35 matches in the league during the 2024/2025 season.

After signing, Gunn expressed his happiness, saying: "I am very happy to be here; Nottingham Forest is a historic club going through an exciting journey, and I look forward to being a part of it." He added, "I have joined a strong group of goalkeepers, and I believe my experience will add a lot to the team. I am excited to get started."
