The management of Al-Hilal Club is heading towards ending its association with Serbian striker Aleksandar Mitrović during the current summer transfer window, amid the absence of any indicators confirming his continuity with the team led by coach Simone Inzaghi.

Informed sources reported that Al-Hilal is seriously considering selling Mitrović's contract this summer, in light of expected technical changes through which the Italian coach seeks to build a new attacking combination that suits his tactical vision.

Mitrović's departure is one of the most prominent issues discussed within the club, especially as the management is searching for a replacement striker with different capabilities that align with Inzaghi's plans for the upcoming season.

The Serbian striker joined Al-Hilal in the summer of 2023 and performed strongly during his first season; however, the new technical direction may expedite his departure, even though he is still under a valid contract with the club.
