Al-Khaleej Strengthens Defense by Signing Ahmed Assiri Until 2027

The management of Al-Khaleej Club has officially signed a contract with defender Ahmed Assiri, who will join the first football team until 2027, according to what the club announced via its account on the "X" platform on Monday evening.

Signing Assiri represents a new milestone in his football career, as Al-Khaleej is the fifth club he will represent, following his previous experiences with four prominent clubs in the Saudi League.

Assiri's professional journey began with Al-Ittihad, where he progressed through the youth categories until he reached the first team in 2012, continuing with them for seven seasons, during which he won three local championships.

After leaving Al-Ittihad in 2019, Assiri moved to Al-Taawoun, playing for two seasons, before continuing his career with Al-Faisaly for one season, and then moving to Al-Riyadh, which he represented for two seasons.

Assiri has an impressive record of participation, having played 343 official matches in various competitions, totaling 29,187 minutes, during which he scored 13 goals and assisted four others.
