Nelson Veiga, the agent of Portuguese defender Renato Veiga, broke his silence regarding the rumors of negotiations with Saudi club Al-Nassr during the ongoing summer transfer window.

Nelson clarified in special statements to the Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" that everything being said about an official offer from Al-Nassr is not true, confirming that no offer has been received so far.

Recent media reports had suggested that Renato Veiga, a defender for Chelsea, is among the defensive options being considered by Al-Nassr to compensate for the potential departure of Laporte.

Al-Nassr continues its search for a distinguished foreign defender to strengthen its defense line, especially with Spanish player Aymeric Laporte nearing a return to his former club Athletic Bilbao.

The club has bolstered its squad this summer by signing defender Nader Al-Sharari, midfielder Abdul Malik Al-Jaber, in addition to Portuguese João Felix from Chelsea.
