Vinicius: My biggest dream is to leave a legacy that transcends football, and these are my role models
Real Madrid star Vinicius Junior gave an interview to 'GQ' Spain, where he talked about his football career, future aspirations, and the names that inspired him throughout his journey on the pitch.
The player began his talk: "Playing at this level, with the biggest club in the world and my national team, still feels like a dream. I know that my story inspires others, especially children who come from the same place I came from. Representing my team, my country, and my family on the biggest stages is an honor that I cannot consider normal."
Regarding his role models: "Cristiano Ronaldo dedicated his life to being the best, and he never stopped striving for that. Similarly, LeBron James inspired me for similar reasons, but also because of his impact in his community. And of course, there are the Brazilian legends: Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, and Neymar, who mean a lot to Brazil and our football."
He continued: "I have achieved a lot, but my dreams are not over yet. I want to win more titles with Real Madrid and claim the most important trophies with the Brazilian national team, especially through the work I am doing through my foundation to improve the education system in Brazil."
He concluded about the best moments of his career so far: "There have been many pivotal moments: my start with Flamengo, my transfer to Real Madrid, and scoring in two Champions League finals... Each of these moments contributed to shaping my character as a player and as a person."
