Allegri: Napoli is the Top Contender for the Italian League Title
Massimiliano Allegri, the returning coach of AC Milan, confirmed that Napoli is the favorite to win the Italian league title in the 2025/2026 season, noting that the competition will be fierce with several teams.
Allegri stated in his remarks: "Napoli is the favorite, as the champion of the previous season always starts from the top."
He added: "After that comes Inter, which is a strong team, followed by Juventus, Atalanta, Roma, Fiorentina, and Lazio."
The Milan coach spoke about his return to the team after 11 years since his departure, saying: "I aim to benefit from my previous experience when I won the league title with Milan in 2011 to compete with Napoli and Inter."
He concluded his remarks by saying: "Not playing in Europe gives us the opportunity to train regularly every week, but playing in the Champions League is vital for growth and development."
