Veratti: I Dream of Playing in Calcio
The veteran Italian star Marco Veratti, midfielder for Paris Saint-Germain, expressed his hope to play in Serie A one day.
This comes after the 33-year-old player, who transferred this summer from Al-Arabi to Al-Duhail in Qatar, became a 50% owner of Pescara.
Veratti stated to La Gazzetta dello Sport: "It's a dream, yes. You always have to set a goal: maybe I will achieve it now that I am a co-owner with 50%."
He added: "Look, just for Pescara, I could have done what I really wanted: they gave me everything, and I wanted to give back with all my heart."
It is worth noting that Veratti has never played in the top division of his country; when he contributed to Pescara's promotion in 2012, he transferred to Paris Saint-Germain.
