Lyon Seeks to Sign Tyler Morton.. Liverpool Sets Sale Price
French media reports revealed today, Wednesday, that Olympique Lyon is interested in signing the young English midfielder Tyler Morton from Liverpool during the current summer transfer window.
According to French newspaper "L'Équipe", Liverpool has set Morton's sale price at 9 million euros, plus bonuses, to agree to complete the deal. In contrast, Lyon considers this amount high, especially since the player has only one year left on his contract, with no clear intention to renew.
Morton is 22 years old and is contracted with Liverpool until the summer of 2026. He has spent the past two seasons on loan at Blackburn and Hull City, where he delivered good performances that caught the attention of European clubs.
It is noteworthy that Liverpool recently announced the departure of Colombian winger Luis Diaz to Bayern Munich in a deal worth 70 million euros, along with 5 million euros in incentives.
