Zamalek Renewed Interest in Moroccan Player After French Deal Stumbles
Thursday 24-07-2025
The Egyptian Zamalek Football Club has reopened communication channels with Moroccan player Bilal Walid Sheikh, the former winger of the Dutch club Vitesse, to contract him during the current summer transfer window, following the failure of the deal with French-Ivorian player Teddy Oko.

According to reports, Bilal Walid Sheikh's name has returned to the Zamalek management's list of interests, making him one of the top options to strengthen the team's attacking line, especially after negotiations with the French player stalled.

Reports confirmed that the Moroccan player was among the technical nominations earlier, but reaching a preliminary agreement with Teddy Oko at that time led to freezing the negotiations.

With Zamalek withdrawing from the French deal, Walid Sheikh has become the closest candidate to lead the team's attack during the new football season.
