Monday 29-12-2025
The English club Stoke City, which competes in the Championship, is close to finalizing the signing of young Senegalese star Lamine Kamara, a player from Moroccan club Renaissance Berkane, after reaching a final agreement between the two parties.

Moroccan reports revealed that Stoke City's management has completed all financial and administrative details related to the deal, and the only remaining step is for the player to undergo a medical examination expected in the coming days, in preparation for the official signing of the contract.

Mamadou Lamine Kamara (21 years old) is considered one of the most prominent rising talents in the Moroccan league, following his remarkable performance with Renaissance Berkane over the past two seasons, especially in the CAF Confederation Cup, which has drawn the attention of several European clubs, including Crystal Palace, Bologna, and Fenerbahçe.

This transfer is part of Stoke City's plan to strengthen its squad with young and highly skilled players, as the club aims to return to the Premier League next season.

This move underscores the growing stature of Renaissance Berkane as one of the leading Moroccan clubs in developing and exporting talent to Europe, having become a gateway for promising players to major leagues.
