The English club Everton is close to finalizing its agreement with goalkeeper Jordan Pickford to renew his contract and keep him with the team for a long time to come.

According to the British newspaper "The Sun", Everton has reached an agreement with Pickford to extend his current contract, which ends in June 2027, for an additional 4 years, allowing the veteran goalkeeper to remain at the Toffees until 2031.

The new contract is expected to include a salary increase for Pickford, who currently earns £6 million annually, as the club is keen on keeping him as one of its key players.

Pickford joined Everton in the summer of 2017 from Sunderland and has participated in 320 matches in the Premier League so far, while continuing to excel as the starting goalkeeper for the England national team since 2017, with a total of 76 international matches.
