Real Madrid has reached a final agreement with Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to renew his contract, which ends at the end of the upcoming season "June 2026".

According to journalist José Félix Díaz, the Belgian goalkeeper has signed a new contract with the royal club until the summer of 2027, awaiting only the official announcement.

The renewal of the veteran goalkeeper's contract reflects the club's great confidence in him and appreciation for the exceptional levels he has provided since joining the club in the summer of 2018 from Chelsea.

Courtois, who is 32 years old, is considered one of the best goalkeepers in the world and has played a pivotal role in Real Madrid's numerous titles and championships.

It is worth noting that Courtois has played 288 matches with Real Madrid in all competitions, winning the Champions League twice, La Liga three times, the UEFA Super Cup twice, the Intercontinental Cup once, the Club World Cup twice, the Copa del Rey once, and the Spanish Super Cup three times.
