The Spanish newspaper AS revealed a sudden setback in the transfer deal of the promising Moroccan player Abdullah Wazan to Real Madrid, just moments before the official signing, despite the player having arrived in Madrid four days ago in preparation for the formal signing.

According to the same newspaper, the deal, which was just a few steps away from the official announcement, is now on hold amid ambiguity surrounding the reasons for the halt.

Some sources indicated that there are medical notes that may be the reason behind the hesitation of the royal club's officials, while other sources refrained from delving into details, only confirming that the future of the deal will be resolved within a few hours.

Real Madrid had reached a complete agreement with Wazan regarding the contract details.

The player was scheduled to undergo a medical examination and then join the training of the reserve team (Castilla) directly, with close technical monitoring from the club's management.
