The Brazilian star Vinicius Junior continues to solidify his place among the great legends of Real Madrid, having entered a historic list that includes the most prominent scorers of the royal club across generations, after reaching more than 20 goals for the fifth consecutive season.

Vinicius' new milestone came during the match against Sevilla, after he scored the winning goal for Real Madrid, raising his tally to 128 goals in the team's jersey, surpassing the historic record of Fernando Hierro, which stopped at 127 goals.

The 25-year-old Brazilian forward now occupies the thirteenth place in the list of the club's historic scorers, continuing his remarkable performance during the second half of the season.

Vinicius' numbers have seen significant improvement since Álvaro Arbeloa took over team leadership last January, as he scored 16 goals in 26 matches, with a scoring rate of 0.6 goals per match, after having only scored six goals under Xabi Alonso's leadership before that.

With this achievement, Vinicius has joined a legendary group in Real Madrid's history, which includes immortal names like Alfredo Di Stefano, Ferenc Puskás, Hugo Sánchez, Raúl González, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Karim Benzema.

During the current season, the Brazilian star has directly contributed to 33 goals, having scored 22 goals and provided 11 assists, confirming his pivotal role in Real Madrid's offensive system.

Vinicius is also just three goals away from matching Michel's record, who holds the twelfth place in the club's historic scorers list.

For his part, Álvaro Arbeloa praised the Brazilian international, confirming that his impact within the team goes beyond numbers, saying: “Vinicius is a natural leader, and everyone within the team loves him. He has carried Real Madrid on his shoulders since he was young and contributed to winning two Champions League titles, and this is something no one should forget.”
