The Moroccan striker Karim Al-Barkawi is close to finalizing his football future in the coming days, following the end of his journey with the Saudi Al-Raed club, where he defended its colors for five consecutive seasons.

The Saudi newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" revealed that Al-Barkawi is in the process of studying a number of serious offers he has recently received, awaiting his final decision this week.

At the top of the interested parties is the newly promoted Saudi club Al-Hazm, alongside clubs from the UAE, Egypt, and Turkey.

Al-Barkawi is also attracting interest from Moroccan clubs, most notably Wydad Casablanca and Raja Casablanca, who are seeking to strengthen their attacking line before the start of the new season.

Al-Barkawi joined Al-Raed in the summer of 2020 from Hassania Agadir, scoring 63 goals and providing 7 assists in 131 matches across all competitions.

He has been distinguished by his versatility in attacking roles, having played as a striker in 117 matches and scored 61 goals, in addition to his participation in the left winger position in 32 matches.

On the international level, Al-Barkawi previously participated with the Moroccan national team in the 2021 Arab Cup in Qatar, where he played 3 matches and scored one goal.

The player's final decision, expected this week, remains a focal point for Moroccan and Arab football fans, given the multiple offers and his artistic value proven both on and off the Saudi pitches.
