Wydad Mourns Former Player Kalilou Mohamed Traore

Wydad Casablanca has mourned the loss of its former player Kalilou Traoré, who passed away at the age of 38 due to a traffic accident, expressing its profound sadness and offering condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. The club stated in an official statement: "Wydad Casablanca extends its heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathy to the family of the late Mohamed Traoré (Kalilou), the former player of the team, asking God Almighty to grant him vast mercy, place him in His spacious paradise, and inspire his family and loved ones with patience and solace." Traoré is regarded as one of the players who wore the Wydad jersey during his professional career before embarking on stints in Europe, notably with French club Sochaux and Danish side Odense, and he also represented the Mali national team at the international level.
