Al-Shabab Club Announces New Contracts and Dissolves Its Board
Al-Shabab Club has officially announced its signing of right-back Faisal Al-Sobiani, in a move aimed at strengthening the defensive line ahead of the new sports season 2025-2026.
The club also completed a new deal by acquiring center-back Marzouk Tambakti, as part of intensive efforts to bolster the team's ranks, especially in light of the upcoming challenges on both local and continental levels.
In a surprising administrative development, the Ministry of Sports issued a decision to dissolve the board of directors of Al-Shabab Club, following the resignation of its president, Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al-Munajem, in accordance with the provisions of paragraph (6) of Article (36) of the clubs' basic regulations.
Based on paragraph (10) of Article (95) of the same regulations, a temporary board has been appointed to manage the club's affairs, chaired by Mr. Khalif bin Abdullah Al-Huwaishan, with the membership of Mishal bin Abdul Rahman Al-Aqla and Faleh bin Abdullah Al-Faleh.
The temporary council is preparing to assume its duties immediately, coinciding with the completion of summer signings, in order to ensure administrative and technical readiness as the start of the new season approaches.
