Manchester United has started its steps to sign Ecuadorian left-back Pervis Estupiñán, following the impressive performances he delivered with Brighton in the English league last season, which caught the attention of several European clubs.

The British network "talkSPORT" reported that Manchester United has held talks with those close to the player in preparation for completing the deal, as it seeks to strengthen the left-back position.

The report also indicated that Italian club AC Milan has shown interest in acquiring the player's services to compensate for the departure of Theo Hernandez to Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal.

Brighton has become open to exploring offers for Estupiñán, especially after signing young Belgian Maxime De Kuyper to bolster the same position, and the market value of the Ecuadorian star is estimated at around 30 million euros.

Estupiñán is 27 years old and is contracted with Brighton until June 2027, having played 104 matches for the team across various competitions, during which he scored 5 goals and assisted 14 goals. His new destination is expected to become clear during the current summer transfer window.
