Officially: Everton Announces Signing of Goalkeeper Mark Travers

Everton Football Club announced on its official website the signing of Irish international goalkeeper Mark Travers on a contract that extends until the summer of 2029, in a permanent transfer from Bournemouth, without disclosing the financial details.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has played 82 matches with Bournemouth over 9 years, and has had loan spells with Weymouth, Swindon Town, Stoke City, and Middlesbrough, where he was a starter in 20 league matches during the second half of last season.

Internationally, Travers has 4 caps with the Republic of Ireland national team since his debut in 2019.

Travers expressed his happiness about moving to Everton, stating his pride in wearing the shirt of a great club like Everton, and looking forward to embarking on a new chapter in his career and competing with his teammates for the goalkeeper position.
