West Ham United has made an official offer to Juventus for the Brazilian Douglas Luiz, a midfielder for the Bianconeri, during the current summer transfer window.

According to a report from 'Football Italia', the offer includes a loan for the player at a cost of 10 million euros, with a non-binding purchase option ranging between 25 and 30 million euros at the end of the season.

However, Juventus management has expressed reservations about the terms, as they prefer to loan the player under a professional contract that includes a clear mandatory purchase clause or to sell him outright, especially given that he is not in the plans of Juventus coach Igor Tudor.

Despite a poor performance in the 2024/2025 season, where the player participated in 27 matches without scoring or assisting any goals and missed 20 matches due to injuries, his name remains on the radar of other English clubs such as Manchester United, Leeds United, and Everton.
