Stuttgart President: Vultmeier Stays with Us Next Season
Alexander Wehrle, the CEO of the German club Stuttgart, confirmed that his club is committed to keeping striker Nick Vultmeier in the team for the next season, emphasizing that the club's management rejected Bayern Munich's offer to acquire the player during the ongoing summer transfer window.
Wehrle stated in his remarks: "We will not part with Vultmeier; he will continue to play football with us next season."
Wehrle clarified that negotiations with Bayern Munich's management have so far been limited to phone calls only, adding: "It is customary after that to hold a direct meeting, but I have categorically rejected that so far."
Bayern Munich had submitted an official offer worth 40 million euros, plus an additional 5 million in incentives, to be paid in four installments, to contract Vultmeier, according to the German network "Sky Sport".
However, Stuttgart rejected the offer, insisting on keeping the player who is contracted with the club until the summer of 2028.
It is worth noting that Vultmeier moved to Stuttgart last summer from Werder Bremen on a free transfer and had an outstanding season, playing 33 matches, scoring 17 goals, and assisting 3 others.
