Firmino Reaches Final Agreement with Qatari Al-Sadd
Friday 11-07-2025
Reports emerged today, Friday, that Brazilian star Roberto Firmino, the striker of Saudi Al-Ahli, has reached a final agreement with Qatari club Al-Sadd to join its ranks during the current summer transfer window.

According to multiple sources, both parties have come to a complete agreement on the personal terms of the contract, and an official announcement is expected in the coming days, once the medical examinations are completed and the contractual procedures are finalized.

Firmino, 32 years old, joined Saudi Al-Ahli in the summer of 2023 from Liverpool, but he did not meet the expected performance levels, as he struggled with inconsistent performances and lost his place in the starting lineup on several occasions, which hastened his departure despite having time left on his contract.

The signing of Firmino comes as part of Al-Sadd's efforts to strengthen its squad before the start of the new season, especially after participating in the AFC Champions League, as the team is looking for a striker with significant international experience and high offensive capabilities.
